Our Top Betting Tips for the 2017 NBA Draft on June 22, 2017

This year, the NBA Draft will be held at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, New York on June 22, 2017. The event can be seen on TV on ESPN beginning at 7:00 PM ET. The first round consists of 30 picks and the second round consists of 30 picks. Both the first and the second rounds will be televised with the remaining picks being broadcasted on the WatchESPN app.

In this article, we will select a few of the top plays that we like for this year’s draft and those that we feel are financially advantageous to play. We will not be picking props that are not smart plays such as Total # of Kentucky Wildcats Players Drafted Over 2.5 at -650!!! These plays focus on making some smart money through research and mock boards. Without any further reservations, let’s jump on in and find some value plays!!!

Total Number of UCLA Players Drafted in the First Round – Under 2.5 @ +325

We all know that there are really only 3 players on the UCLA Bruins that are going to be drafted in the 2017 NBA Draft’s first two rounds. Lonzo Ball should go early in the top 5 picks, permitting his dad didn’t completely scare off every team in the NBA, and TJ Leaf, who will most likely go between pick 15-20. That only leaves Ike Anigbogu, who I have seen drafted outside the first round in all of the big boards/mock boards. At +325, we will go with the Under 2.5 for UCLA players drafted.

Total Number of Gonzaga Players Drafted in the First Round – Under 1.5 @ -115

This play seems too easy to me. First off, Zach Collins is the only player that will get drafted in the first round. And one of only two players that will be possibly selected in the first two rounds. Nigel Williams-Goss is a possibility for the second round but reality is he may fall out of the second round leaving Collins as the only Gonzaga player drafted in the first two rounds. Neither here nor there, no doubt in my mind he is the ONLY one drafted in the first round. Play this prop Under 1.5 at -115 and collect your winnings!!!

Total Number of Oregon Players Drafted in the First Round – Under 2.5 @ +210

This is another player that leaves me scratching my head? When the oddsmakers made these lines, I wonder if they actually looked at researched some big boards and looked at where each team is looking to draft players because this one makes no sense to me at all. Jordan Bell is the only player on any NBA team’s first round sheets. Dillon Brooks and Tyler Dorsey are 2 additional Oregon Duck’s that could get drafted and most likely will get drafted in the second round but neither one of them are first round talent. Jump on this one early at +210!
