NFL Pick: Baltimore Ravens at Indianapolis Colts

On Sunday in the National Football League, one of the biggest games of the day feature the Baltimore Ravens traveling to Indianapolis to battle the Colts. The Ravens come into the game with a 3-1 record, and are winners of three straight games. Indianapolis is 2-2, but have won their last two games. The Ravens are in second place in the AFC North, trailing just the Cincinnati Bengals. Indianapolis, playing in a weak AFC South, currently are a game behind the Houston Texans.

The Indianapolis Colts are hitting their stride on the offensive side. The Colts scored 44 and 41 in their last two wins; over Jacksonville and Tennessee. Andrew Luck and the passing game ranks at the top of the National Football League with 326 yards per game. The passing game has seen both T.Y. Hilton and Reggie Wayne be ultra productive. The two have combined for 45 catches and 600 yards. The running game has seen both Trent Richardson and Ahmad Bradshaw combine for just under 100 carries so far. The Colts, on the defensive end are allowing 251 passing yards and 104 rushing yards per game. Indianapolis will play three of their next four games on the road, before heading to their bye week.

The Baltimore Ravens are coming off a blow-out win over the Carolina Panthers. That win followed two divisional wins over the Steelers and Browns. Baltimore is scoring just slightly under 26 points per game, while defensively, they are giving up just 15 points per game. The offense, despite losing Ray Rice is averaging 134.5 yards per game on the ground. Justin Forsett and Lorenzo Taliaferro have combined for just over 400 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns. Joe Flacco has seen receivers Steve Smith and Torrey Smith as great options. The veteran, Steve Smith leads the team with 25 catches, 429 yards and 3 touchdowns through the early going. The Ravens will also play three of their next four games on the road, including next week at Tampa Bay.

This should be one of the best games during Week 5 of the National Football League season. We are very excited about seeing what will take place in this game. We expect this game to be close in the early going. In the end, the Baltimore defense is not as good as they have been in season’s past. Andrew Luck is unbelievable, especially when playing in his home dome, Lucas Oil Stadium. Vegas has made the Indianapolis Colts the favorite in this game, which is what we agree with. What we do not agree with is the Colts -3, and we think that will be too small of a margin. We are going to bet on the Indianapolis Colts -3 in this game, and really like it.
