MMA Totals Plays for Bellator 170 Fights

We have some totals picks if you are betting on the Bellator 170 event.

We are writing a new article for Bet USA Sports this week that will focus primarily on MMA Total plays. We will not be picking sides but rather we will give out the prop bet that we feel is best for that particular fight. This week, we are looking solely at Bellator 170 and the main card.

Many of the big sports book released their lines on Wednesday evening including prop plays. Take a look at three plays that we like this week.

Tito Ortiz vs. Chael Sonnen

Both of these guys are well past their prime and making it past the 2nd round, with energy to spare is unlikely. Chael Sonnen hasn’t fought since November 2013. Tito Ortiz last fought against Liam McGeary on 9/19/2015. Both of these guys will have cage rush and both will be sloppy. One of them will make a mistake and this fight will end before the end of the 2nd round. Take a nice shot with this fight ending before the 2.5 round mark for +145

Paul Daley vs. Brennan Ward

If you like fights where guys are constantly going for the finish, then you are going to love this fight! Paul Daley and Brennan Ward both are known for their aggressive styles, where they look to make quick work of their opponents. Daley is a finisher with 30 of his 38 wins coming by way of finish. In Ward’s last 10 fights, all 10 have ended before the 1.5 round mark. As a matter of fact, in Ward’s entire career, only 2 fight’s have gone over the 1.5 round mark. I’ve looked at every possible way for this fight to go the distance and I just don’t see it. I’m really not a fan of the odds being at -185 but I will take my chances here. Play Daley vs. Ward Under 1.5 rounds for -185

Ralek Gracie vs. Hisaki Kato

OK, let’s cut right to the chase on this one. Ralek Gracie is going to try to take this fight to the ground and submit Kato with his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Hisaki Kato is going to try to stand in the center of the cage and knock Gracie’s head off his shoulders. Ralek Gracie hasn’t fought since 2010 and only has 3 total fights in his professional career. Hisaki Kato has fought 2 times this year, both were 1st round knockouts. There is NO chance this fight makes it out of the 1st round. Play Gracie vs. Kato Under 1.5 rounds for -275
