The Los Angeles Dodgers will travel out to Chicago Illinois to take on the Chicago White Sox in a two-game series from Guaranteed Rate Field, starting tonight at 8:10 PM. This will be the 1st time the Dodgers and the White Sox have played each other since 2014.

Kershaw Gets Interleague Start

The Los Angeles Dodgers are the hottest team in baseball right now going 9-1 in their last 10 games overall.  They are on 9 game winning streak and are 10.5 games out in front, in 1st place in the National League West division.

The Dodgers have the best run differential in all of baseball at +172.  They have scored 479 runs and their pitching staff has only allowed 307 runs, which is also the lowest in the majors.

The Dodgers will send their ace to the mound Tuesday night as Clayton Kershaw goes for his 15th win of the year.  Kershaw’s 14 wins is the most in the majors this year. Kershaw is 14-2 with a 2.18 ERA over 19th game started. He has struck out 159 batters and walked 22.

White Sox Use Day Off To Prepare For Kershaw

The Chicago White Sox are 14 games under .500 with a 38-52 record. The White Sox are 9 games back in the American League Central division behind the Cleveland Indians.  They will get the day off on Monday prepare for the best pitcher in the league, Clayton Kershaw.

The White Sox have lost 4 games straight and come into this game 3-7 in their last 10 games overall. The White Sox have a -36 run differential this season. They have scored 408 runs and have allowed 444 runs.

The White Sox recently sent starting pitcher José Quintana across the state to the Chicago Cubs and it appears that they are not done with their trades.  Sources close to Boston have gone public and saying that the Red Sox are after Todd Frazier and a deal could be made as early as this week. There is also talk that the Red Sox, as well as the New York Yankees, are on the market for relief pitcher David Robertson. It remains to be seen whether one or either of these trades will take place.

Kershaw On The Mound = Low Scoring Game!

Whenever Clayton Kershaw’s on the mound, you have to take a serious look at the under in the game. Between his strikeouts in the White Sox lack of offense, I can’t foresee any possible way that this game goes over the total.

Pick: LA Dodgers vs. Chicago White Sox Under 8.5 for 2 Units
