Top 4 Betting Picks for Saturday March Madness

There were 16 teams that survived the March Madness on Thursday, and now they will move to the round of 32 on Saturday. Saturday’s winners then get a few days off, and head to the Sweet 16.

The losers Saturday of course go home. We have looked over some of the best games of the day on Saturday, and have our Top 4 Betting Picks for Saturday March Madness:

Notre Dame Fighting Irish +2.5 over West Virginia Mountaineers

Two pretty solid basketball teams are going to get together in this one. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish for the second straight season survived a first round scare. This is a team that has been to the Elite 8 the past two seasons. The West Virginia Mountaineers have high hopes, and are gong to try to pressure the basketball enough to down the Irish. This should be a pretty fun game, but when push comes to shove the team with the most postseason experience in the winner. Bet on Notre Dame +2.5 over West Virginia on Saturday.

Northwestern Wildcats +11 over Gonzaga Bulldogs

Could miracles actually happen? Sure, they could. Northwestern brought a massive crowd to Salt Lake City, especially coming from Chicago area. The Wildcats won late against Vanderbilt, and seem to have that magic. The top seeded Gonzaga Bulldogs did not play real well, but came away with a win as the top seed. Look for Gonzaga to squeak out yet another win, and move to the round of 16, but Northwestern is going to give all they can handle in this one.

Butler Bulldogs -3 over Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders

The Blue Raiders have been a great story, and really, they are a solid basketball team. But, the Butler Bulldogs are going to put an end to that. Butler is a much better team athleticism wise. The Bulldogs are a small favorite, and we expect them to get the job done, and move on to the Sweet 16.

Virginia Cavaliers +2 over Florida Gators

An underdog comes away with the win in the round of 32. Boy, Virginia barely escaped their first round game. The Cavaliers struggled to score at times, but when they did start putting the basketball in the hoop, they were tough. Florida played pretty well in the first round, but just do not like the makeup of that team right now. In a slugfest type game, we are taking Coach Tony Bennett and his Cavaliers to move on to the Round of 16 next weekend. Read our full Virginia vs. Florida preview and pick here.

Thursday was excellent basketball, and we expect Saturday to be even better. This is the best time of year for sports, and after this weekend, we will be down to the best 16 teams in the nation. Enjoy the weekend of basketball, and we hope you take a look at our Top 4 betting picks and win a few bets of your own this weekend. Best of luck with your March Madness betting!
