PGA Golf: RBC Heritage Betting Picks & Tips

Branden Grace

After a thrilling Masters in Augusta, the PGA world turns it’s attention to the RBC Heritage this weekend. Several of the top golfers will not be in attendance for this event, which is often the tradition after the masters.  The event will take place at Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. The Harbour Town Golf Links has been around since 1969 and is a 7,101 yards par 71 course. The course record is 264 by Brian Gay back in 2009. Branden Grace is the defending champion of this event. Let’s take a look at the RBC Heritage Betting Picks and Tips:

Matt Kuchar +1400

Matt Kuchar was the star of the Masters, despite not winning the event. Matt Kuchar scored a hole in one on the 16th hole. After the hole in one, he signed his ball and gave it to a young spectator. It was the moment of the tournament. On the course, Kuchar finished 4th by shooting 67 on the final day. Before that, he did not make the cut in Houston, which was very curious. Look for the 38-year-old to have a sweet stroke this weekend.

Brandt Snedeker +2000

Love the upside of the 36-year-old Snedeker. This guy is on his way to winning a big one. Sure, he was not strong at the Masters, finishing with a 73 on the final day. But earning nearly $80,000 will have Snedeker ready for this one. Before that, he finished 28th at the Arnold Palmer Invite at Bay Hill. Snedeker has 3 Top 10 finishes this season and is currently 37th on the money list.

Adam Hadwin +2200

The 29 year old Canadian has finished in the Top 10 in 33% of his events this season. He finished 36th at the Masters, with 75, 74, 75 and 70 scores. This season, Hadwin has made over $2.5M on the links but has yet to finish in the Top 10. Look for the ball striker to be in the mix, as this is a course that fits him well.

Branden Grace +2500

Do not be surprised if the 28-year-old from South Africa wins this event. He shot a 71 and 70 on the final two days of the Masters and finished 28th. Before that, he missed the cut at Bay Hill. He has the talent to get there, he just needs to find some consistency. He ranks 92nd on the money list thus far.

Jason Dufner +3300

Dufner was another guy that struggled the first two days of the Masters but made the cut. Heading into Sunday, it looked like he may be in the mix. A final day of 76 did not bode well for the 49-year-old from Cleveland. Look for Dufner to play closer to the form that had him back to back Top 15’s at Innisbrook and Houston, where he came away with nearly $300,000. Dufner will be in the mix on Sunday.

There is a look at some of the best odds to win the RBC Heritage Open. It should be a great event, with several really talented players in action. Karma is great for Matt Kuchar, and he is going to strike it rich this weekend. He is the best golfer in the event, and he is our pick to win. Bet on Matt Kuchar +1400 to win the RBC Heritage Open.
