Gonzaga Bulldogs Final Four

In NCAA Basketball on Saturday, the Final Four will be played, and we get to see Gonzaga vs. South Carolina. The Gamecocks are the underdog in the tournament, as the 7 seed. South Carolina is 26-10, after finishing fourth in the SEC regular season. South Carolina is coming off an Elite 8 win over the Florida Gators.

For Gonzaga, Mark Few and company have lost just one game all season. The Bulldogs are 36-1 and were regular season and conference tournaments winners of the West Coast Conference and they are coming into the game fresh off their Elite 8 win over the Musketeers of Xavier. The Bulldogs are -6.5 over the Gamecocks on Saturday.

Gamecocks Riding High

The South Carolina Gamecocks have tournament wins over Marquette, Duke, Baylor and the Florida Gators. Two of the four wins came in blowout fashion, as they downed Marquette and Baylor by 20 points. The Gamecocks are playing in the Final Four for just the first time in school history.

The Gamecocks are led in scoring by Sindarius Thornwell. The guard is scoring more than 21 points per game. South Carolina came into the SEC Tournament as losers of five out of their final seven games, including losses on the road at Ole Miss, and a home loss to the Crimson Tide of Alabama.

Bulldogs Need just Two More

Mark Few and the Gonzaga Bulldogs are also playing in the Final Four for the first time in school history. The Bulldogs have been fantastic all season long, with their lone loss coming late in the season to Brigham Young. Gonzaga has tournament wins over South Dakota State, Northwestern, West Virginia and Xavier.

The Gonzaga Bulldogs are one of the top defensive teams in all of the college basketball. The Bulldogs are allowing opponents to score just 60.9 points per game. The Bulldogs are also one of the top rebounding teams in the country, with 40.5 per game. Gonzaga’s top scorer this season has been Nigel Williams-Goss, with 16.7 per game.

Bulldogs Move on to Title Game

Gonzaga vs. South Carolina is a very difficult game to wager on. Of course, these two teams are red-hot, as they both have won four straight tournament games. Both coaches are seeking their first national title as well. Look for the Gamecocks to continue to try to keep the game in a grind, while South Carolina has been more uptempo in the tournament.

These two teams are pretty evenly matched, by the Bulldogs seem to have a little more depth than the Gamecocks. Look for that to play a factor along with a massive crowd from Gonzaga. The final bet for this game is the Gonzaga Bulldogs – 6.5 over the South Carolina Gamecocks in the NCAA Final Four.
